Covalent Organic Framework with Engineered Active Sites for Selective Knoevenagel Condensation Catalysis

Abstract

Alkaline COFs with precisely arranged active sites achieved >99% conversion and excellent selectivity in flow Knoevenagel condensation, where transition-state stabilization dominates over sieving effects. This establishes a molecular engineering approach for high-efficiency catalysts via organized active sites in crystalline COF matrices.
