Unlocking Room-Temperature Phosphorescence in Curved Corannulene Scaffolds via Multi-Esterification and Phenyl Bridging
Abstract
The room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) properties of corannulene were successfully activated through multi-esterification and phenyl bridging strategies, where the ester groups enhanced spin-orbit coupling (SOC) to facilitate intersystem crossing (ISC) while the phenyl bridges improved RTP efficiency.
